The reason I was first interested in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was because, when I heard the missionaries, it began to make sense and I wondered if it might be true. The reason I was baptized as a member of the Church is because, at some point, after reading the Book of Mormon and praying sincerely about it, I knew that it was true... and if the book was true, than Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God and this was the true Church. I also realized that, having been blessed with this God-given knowledge, I had a divinely appointed responsibility to then teach my children.
